What to send
The more of this you include, the closer the first number will be. None of it is required — a name and a phone number is enough to start.
- Photos of the space — a few angles, taken from where someone would stand. For new construction, the plans instead.
- A rough measurement — the length of the run, or the rise and number of treads on a stair.
- What you like — a photo from our gallery or anywhere else. Style is easier to show than describe.
- Finish — powder coat color, or just tell us interior vs exterior and we will advise.
- Your timeline — especially if you are working to a framing or move-in date.
What happens next

- Exact itemized quote. Built from the scan, so the price and the fit are both real.
- Deposit, then build. 50% deposit, 50% on completion. Steel lead time 1-2 weeks.

How do I get a quote from NW Iron Works?
Send photos of the space, or the plans if it is new construction, through the form on this page, by email to [email protected], or by calling 360-857-8002. We come back with a rough number, usually within one business day. If that number works, we 3D-scan the site and turn it into an exact, itemized quote.
Do I need a site visit to get a price?
No, and we would rather you did not start there. We quote from photos first so nobody spends an afternoon on a site visit for a project that was never going to pencil. The scan comes after the rough number is approved.
What should I send with my inquiry?
Photos of the space from a few angles, a rough measurement of the run if you have one, and any plans or inspiration images. For new construction, the plans alone are usually enough. Tell us the finish you have in mind and your target date if you have one.
What are your hours?
The shop is open Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM Pacific, and closed weekends. We answer during business hours; leave a message any time and we will get back to you.

50% deposit, 50% on completion. Quotes are itemized so you can see what each part of the job costs. Typical projects run $5,000-$15,000 installed and take 4-8 weeks from deposit to installed.
