What you're looking at
- Floating Staircases (47 projects)
- Mono-stringer and cantilevered stairs where the structural steel is hidden inside the assembly or the wall, so the treads read as unsupported. Engineered for load, then finished to a tolerance you can see.
- Curved & Grand Stairs (37 projects)
- Curved and grand staircases — the hardest thing we build and the clearest demonstration of what scan-to-cut is for. Every part in a curved run is different from the one next to it, so hand measurement compounds error fast.
- Spiral Staircases (2 projects)
- Space-efficient spiral stairs in steel, interior and exterior, fabricated and installed as one complete unit rather than assembled on site.
- Glass Railings (10 projects)
- Frameless and semi-frameless glass rail systems on steel hardware we fabricate in-house. Panels are ordered against the 3D scan, not a tape measure, which is what keeps a frameless job from needing a second set of glass.
- Steel Railings (67 projects)
- The workhorse: interior and exterior stair, deck, balcony and landing railings in horizontal-bar, vertical picket and ornamental styles. Powder coated for the Northwest.
- Cable Railings (1 projects)
- Stainless cable on steel posts we build and size ourselves. Post sizing and tension are what keep a cable run passing the 4-inch sphere rule under load — not the cable itself.
- Gates & Fencing (36 projects)
- Custom driveway and entry gates, swing and slide, manual and automated, plus matching fencing. Built heavy enough that the operator is not doing structural work.
- Structural Steel (7 projects)
- Residential beams, posts, columns and connections, fabricated from stamped engineering drawings and coordinated with the GC before anything is cut.
Every project shown was fabricated in our Vancouver, WA shop and installed by our own crew. Most land between $5,000-$15,000 installed and take 4-8 weeks from deposit to finished.

This gallery shows 207 photographed projects across the Portland-Vancouver metro, which is a portion of what we have built since 2002. The work spans floating and curved staircases, glass, steel and cable railings, gates and residential structural steel.
Are these projects your own work, or subcontracted?
Every project shown was fabricated in our own Vancouver, WA shop and installed by our own crew. Nothing here was subcontracted, and nothing is stock photography.
Can you build something you have not built before?
Usually yes — everything we make is custom, so there is no catalog to work from in the first place. Send a photo of what you have in mind, or a sketch, along with photos of the space.
Can I get something like one of these for my house?
